This page is where you can sign up for Quadball Australia Membership as an Individual
Quadball Australia Membership for individuals for the 2023 calendar year is open to all individuals and falls into the following categories of membership. Returning members, please take note that there have been some changes to our membership categories so read the following carefully to select the option which suits you best.
Club Player Membership: Full Membership $90 / Third Year Discount $75 / Second Year Discount $65 / New Player Discount $50
New players - players in the first year of participation in 2024.
Second Year - players who first held membership in 2023.
Third Year - players who first held membership in 2022.
Full - all other players.
Membership for individuals associated with a Quadball Australia affiliated club.
Personal injury insurance coverage for all QA registered events, both interclub, intraclub and non-club based, determined by Quadball Australia.
Club players are eligible to participate in the Australian Quadball Championships with their club.
Club players are eligible for selection for their state’s respective representative teams and for national selection to the Australian Dropbears.

Annual Membership, from date of membership purchase to December 31st 2024
Social Player Membership: $50
Playing membership for individuals who are not affiliated with a club and/or who are not playing in interclub matches, ideal for non-playing coaches, team managers or volunteers.
Personal injury insurance coverage for non-club competitive events such as Fantasy tournaments, as determined by and registered with Quadball Australia.
Insurance coverage for officiating or volunteering at Quadball Australia registered events, both club level and other.
Social players are not eligible for selection to their state’s respective representative teams and for national selection to the Australian Dropbears.
Social players are not eligible to participate as a player at the Australian Quadball Championships.

Trial Membership: Free
For NEW playing members of Quadball Australia, a trial membership offers those who have never held Quadball Australia membership the opportunity to be covered for a 30-day period before they are required to upgrade to an annual membership.
Personal injury insurance coverage for all QA registered events, both club and non-club based, and eligibility to participate in ranked matches for your club at QA registered events for a 30-day period.
Please note, due to the structure of some state’s leagues, the state association may place a game limit on this membership within the 30-day period.
Trial players are not eligible for selection to their state’s respective representative teams and for national selection to the Australian Dropbears.
Trial players are not eligible to participate as a player at the Australian Quadball Championships.

Single Event Player Fee: $20
For playing members of Quadball Australia, a single event membership offers those who insurance coverage for a single event. A single event does is classified at the discretion of Quadball Australia. A single event may include a single state league day but does not cover a series of state league days.
Personal injury insurance coverage for all QA registered events, both club and non-club based, and eligibility to participate in ranked matches for your club at QA registered events for a single event.
Single event coverage players are not eligible for selection to their state’s respective representative teams and for national selection to the Australian Dropbears.
Single event coverage players are not eligible to participate as a player at the Australian Quadball Championships. Exemptions may be granted on a case by case basis. Please email treasurer@quadball.org.au for an exemption.
Non-Playing Volunteer Fee: $40
Membership for individuals who are not affiliated with a club and/or who are not playing in any matches, who require insurance.
Insurance coverage for officiating or volunteering at Quadball Australia registered events, both club level and other.
Ideal for non-playing coaches, team managers or volunteers who will be on pitch (i.e. pitch managers).
Non-playing volunteers are not eligible for selection to their state’s respective representative teams and for national selection to the Australian Dropbears.
Non-playing volunteers are not eligible to participate as a player at any Quadball Australia sanctioned events.

Annual Membership, from date of membership purchase to December 31st 2024
Note: For individuals who wish to take on volunteer positions where they will not be required to be on the pitch (such as helping on merchandise stalls), this membership is not required.
Non-Player Membership: $5
For non-players who wish to keep up to date with the association! Quadball Australia is striving to meet our membership requirements to be recognized as a National Sporting Association. Your $5 membership contribution will go directly to funding our NSO Recognition campaign.
Personal injury insurance coverage not offered. Due to this, these individuals are not covered to hold an on-field volunteer position, such as a referee or snitch.

Student Discount
We are excited to now be able to offer a student discount on all levels of Quadball Australia Memberships, of 10%. Please note to be eligible for this discount you will need to include a photo of your valid student ID to your Revsport account. The discount code is simply “Student”.
Upgrade Pathways
All Memberships can be upgraded to a higher level of coverage. Memberships cannot be downgraded. If an individual holds a trial membership, at the end of the trial period they may upgrade their membership to a higher coverage or elect to purchase a Non-Player Membership for $5.
